Research Associate Position Available
Job Description:
- Provide expertise in qualitative and quantitative
methods for research design and instrumentation
- Supervise and participate in data collection
- Lead data analysis and report writing efforts
- Present research and evaluation findings to clients and
broader audiences
- Courteously and effectively communicate with clients
- Review and synthesize project-related documentation
- Work with senior management on proposal writing and
business development efforts
- Provide support to other team members
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
- Travel for projects when needed
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a social science field with relevant
experience in research, evaluation and/or project management.
- Demonstrable proficiency in research methods, including
quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis.
- Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a
team as well as independently
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Government contracting experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and SPSS (or
comparable statistical package)
Salary and benefits commensurate
with experience. Position can be full time or part time.
